Strong financial management and transparent finances are a cornerstone of PRDC’s operations. All 501(c)3 organizations (i.e. non-profits) must prepare extensive financial reports for the Internal Revenue Service to demonstrate they are managed according to generally accepted accounting principles. These documents are usually called by the form name: 990’s. 990’s are an excellent place to start if you wish to see whether a nonprofit is spending its financial resources wisely and in service of its mission. We welcome you to look at PRDC’s last three 990’s.
PRDC takes the extra step of engaging Morey, Jones & Pfeiffer, a respected auditing firm from Richmond, Virginia to perform an external audit every year and to provide our Board of Directors and the public with their findings.
