The 2013 Federal Poverty Guidelines threshold for a family of four has risen from $47,100 instead of $46,100. If your family or a family that you know falls within 200 percent of the poverty guidelines, you may qualify for reduced rate PRDC dental services. To see if you qualify, an eligibility interview will be required before an appointment is made. See the guidelines here (PDF).
PRDC has installed its patient education system, known as Guru. Guru presents educational information to patients in the clinic that helps them understand the importance of oral health. The system, which runs on mobile devices, such as the iPad, is video based and tailored for the individual patient.
